Is Bamboo Fabric Sustainable?

In honor of Earth Day, we're sharing a bit about our bamboo material. A question we often receive is this: Is bamboo fabric sustainable? 

With sustainability being important to us, the simple answer is yes. We aim to create products sustainably down to the packaging.

Is Bamboo Eco Friendly?

Absolutely! When it comes to our bamboo fabric, specifically, there are several benefits alongside sustainability, for example, it is antimicrobial, hypoallergenic, and cooling.

Bamboo Fabric Environmental Impacts

But, even further, bamboo is a self regenerating plant. It grows and regrows from itself, therefore it does not contribute to deforestation. Plus, despite its silky feel, it is vegan because it’s a plant product. Our bamboo bedding is also Oeko-Tex certified, meaning that no harsh chemicals or dyes are used in the production process (no pesticides are needed at all).
