Introducing Sijo's Eucalyptus Bedding Collection
Our team is thrilled to announce that we've added a new collection to our site: The Eucalyptus Bedding Collection (fabricated from TENCEL™ lyocell fibers). We wanted to share a bit about the switch, and what prompted us to choose this material.
It is always our goal to create the best, most luxurious, and most sustainable experience we can for our customers. And as we were preparing re-stocks, we thought that it might be time to try something new.
So, why the switch?
Well, it has many similar benefits to the bamboo bedding you know and love from Sijo, but with an even more luxurious texture. This, along with increased technology in moisture wicking and temperature regulation creates an elevated sleep experience.
Lyocell is also known by TENCEL™ lyocell, which is a trademarked name for the lyocell material only given to authorized brand partners. With that trademark comes a promise of transparency and eco-friendliness alongside excellent performance technology and the material's breathability.
What exactly are all of the benefits?
Our Eucalyptus bedding collection is cooling, super soft, breathable, hypoallergenic, skin and hair friendly (no tugging or premature wrinkles here!), and static free. Stay tuned for a deep dive on all of our benefits!
What about sustainability?
We considered that, too. Our raw materials are sourced from sustainable farms by Lenzing, the company that created TENCEL™. Their dedication to eco-friendliness and sustainability is paramount. We also use a closed-loop process, meaning our organic solvents are recycled, and that we minimize water usage and waste in our manufacturing process. As you've come to know, all Sijo materials are Oeko-Tex 100 certified.
When it comes down to it, we want to keep helping make healthier, more sustainable choices for our your sleep and home experience.
