The part you feel
Better Sleep
Soft is the word our customers come back to most — luxuriously soft, silky, the bed you look forward to. That feeling is the whole point.
Certifications & Standards
None of these tests are required. We do them because “trust us” isn’t good enough for something you sleep against every night.
Third-party certification is slow, costly, and entirely optional. We pursue it anyway — six independent certifications covering what goes into our materials, how they’re made, and whether they’re safe for the most sensitive sleepers.
The softness is the part you feel. The other half is what you don't — no harsh chemicals, no common irritants, clinically tested for sensitive sleepers.

Certified Asthma & Allergy Friendly — clinically tested to be more suitable for people prone to allergies and sensitive skin.
B-Corp is one of the hardest business certifications to earn: an independent audit of how a company treats its workers, its community, and the environment. Sijo scored 80.4, clearing the certification bar and landing well above the 50.9 average for ordinary businesses.
B-Corp pushes companies to weigh every decision against its effect on employees, communities, customers, and the planet, not just the bottom line.
Certified companies are independently assessed on governance, environmental practice, worker wellbeing, and social responsibility, and have to keep improving to stay certified.
STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX means every part of the product has been lab-tested for substances known to be harmful to health.
From the fabric to the thread and trims, every component is lab-tested against a list of up to 350 substances known to be harmful to health. Every part has to pass, or the product doesn't earn the label.
STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX is one of the most recognized textile-safety marks in the world, used in over 100 countries and renewed every year. Every Sijo product carries it.
The asthma & allergy friendly® Certification Program, run by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America and Allergy Standards Limited, scientifically tests products to confirm they're more suitable for people prone to allergies and asthma. It's rare in bedding, and a bar very few brands clear.
Products are tested to confirm they block allergens effectively, hold up through repeated cleaning, and contain no chemicals or solvents known to trigger asthma or allergies.
The AAFA and ASL keep researching and re-testing certified products, so the standard stays current as the science evolves.
Sijo's wood-derived fibers, like the TENCEL™ lyocell in our eucalyptus bedding, carry Forest Stewardship Council certification. It means the wood pulp they're made from is traced to forests managed for long-term environmental and social health.
The forests behind FSC-certified fiber are managed to protect biodiversity and replanted to stay healthy for the long run.
Sourcing follows the rules of both the region the forest sits in and the relevant international standards.
GOTS is the leading standard for organic textiles, covering the whole chain under one certification. All of Sijo's organic materials are GOTS certified.
Fibers are grown to organic standards, without the pesticides, GMOs, or harsh processing chemicals used in conventional textiles.
GOTS independently verifies every step from farm to finished product, including fair labor and honest labeling, not just the raw material.
GRS confirms recycled materials are exactly what they claim to be, with independent oversight at every step.
GRS confirms how much recycled material a product actually contains and tracks it through every stage of production, so the claim is backed by an audit rather than a label.
Certification also covers the environmental and social practices behind the product, from chemical handling to working conditions.
